Failing Concrete Acid Stain
Acid stained concrete ought to hold up fairly well against traffic, but the floor in this San Jose home was showing significant wear. Our client wanted to see a dramatic difference in the appearance of the floor, as well as improvement in the strength of the concrete surface to resist abrasion. He also wanted a naturally polished finish, without waxes or coatings, so that the floor would be easy to maintain.
Professional Concrete Polishing and Staining
Our mechanical grinding process removed surface damage and the old acid stain. We repaired a large crack, applied a densifier, and then burnished and polished the concrete to a high gloss finish with Saddle Brown color.
As you can see, this floor is now in much better shape. Our client was very pleased with the outcome. To learn more, visit our Concrete Stains and Dyes page and ourĀ Concrete Polishing page.
